Spectrometer Software

Ibsen offers a common software platform accross all regular speed ROCK spectrometers. Special software can be provided/developed on request for high-speed versions (10 kHz scan speed and above).

Windows evaluation software

The ROCK spectrometers are supplied with a PC Evaluation Software on a CD. The purpose of the Evaluation Software is to demonstrate the basic functionality of the ROCK spectrometer in an easy manner without the need for tedious programming from the user and to enable the user to use the ROCK spectrometer for basic spectral measurements including absorbance and transmission measurements.

TEC-cooling control

Some of the ROCK spectrometers use a thermo-electrically cooled detector array mounted inside the detector package. For these ROCK spectrometers, a second CD which includes software for controlling the Thermo-Electric cooling of the detector array used is included.

Drivers

The Software CD’s supplied with the ROCK spectrometers include drivers to enable communication with the ROCK spectrometer over a USB or RS-232 interface on a PC.

OEM integration

The ROCK spectrometers are also supplied with a command list (Firmware User’s Manual), enabling the user to develop own measurement programs for OEM integration in LabVIEW, Visual C, etc.
